Description: The reader meets Jeff through their dogs.

Requested?: yes by anonymous : An imagine where you bring your dog to a dog park and your dog and nerf become doggie bffs and that’s how you and Jeff meet.

A/N: i made the dog a great dane and made his name apollo bc i have one and thats his name and i know how dumb he is and it made this extra cute and basically this imagine is just me x jeff but its still cute okay i just love this so much okay bye ily

Disclaimer: the first half of this is from my dogs perspective basically so i hope yall like that lmao and then it switches back to like y/n’s perspective.

I watched her put on her shoes and got excited. My tail wagged at an uncontrollable pace and I started hopping up and down. “Does my good boy wanna go to the park?” She asked me. PARK PARK PARK! That was a special word. That meant we were going to the place with grass and lots of other dogs. I howled my response, sharing my excitement with her.

“Come on, Apollo!” Her voice was higher pitched than when she talked on that little light up box, which was her special voice reserved for talking to me. I loved her. She was the best. I jumped up as she grabbed my leash and I scratched the door with my paw. She opened it and I ran out to the car. CAR! I loved the car! I got to stick my head out of the window and bark at everyone who drove next to us. She thinks I’m just protecting her, but secretly it’s very fun.

“You want the window down?” She asked me and I licked her face. The window disappeared and I stuck my face out, drooling as we picked up speed. I LOVE EVERYTHING!!!! I feel my tail beating against the back of her car as we pull up. I SEE DOGS! I barked at y/n, causing her to laugh as she opened the door. OPEN MY DOOR OPEN MY DOOR! I wagged my tail faster and harder as she opened it. I leaped out, standing by her as I awaited my leash. She hooked me up, attaching me to her as she started walking. I walked next to her, trying not to go too fast so she wouldn’t be mad at me. That is my worst fear, I hate when she gets mad at me. 

“Apollo, are you gonna be gentle and nice to the other dogs?” She asked me as we entered the grass. I SEE DOGS! I wagged my tail and ran as she let me off the leash. DOG! I ran up to a little chihuahua. “Apollo! Be gentle!” Her voice made my ears perk up so I turned to her! GENTLE! That means another dog is littler than me so I cannot sit on it. I turned back to sniff the chihuahua’s butt, but it was gone. I quickly spotted another dog. He was pooping so I ran over to sniff it. He ate chicken this morning. He is a French bulldog, and he told me that he’s not scared of me. I nicely growled at him, asking if he wanted to play.

“That’s my dog, Nerf.” A man said. The dog turned to him, and I realized his name was Nerf! HI NERF HI HI I’M APOLLO LETS RUN! I hopped gently, and he ran off, saying FOLLOW ME! I chased him for a while until he led us back to y/n. She was sitting on a bench with the man that knew Nerf. I sniffed the man, deciding he was okay, and didn’t smell like a cat person. They seemed to be getting along so I followed Nerf into a tiny dog house so we could get out of the sun.

“That’s my dog, Nerf.” The man smiled at me as I told him about Apollo. His accent was strong, and he was very attractive.

“I’m y/n, by the way.” I smiled back at him.

“I’m Jeff.” He told me as we watched our dogs run around together.

“Where are you from?” I asked him, not quite being able to tell where his accent was from.

“New York, but I’ve lived here for a few years now.” Jeff explained. We made small talk, and learned a bit more about each other. Our dogs came up to us, and Apollo sniffed Jeff before they ran off again. I was suddenly infatuated with Jeff. He was single, had his own place, and made good money. Not to mention he was incredibly handsome. I glanced back at the park after being entranced by him, and did a double take when I didn’t see Apollo or Nerf.

“Where’d they go?” I stood up and called Apollo’s name.

“I don’t know, maybe in the dog house or somethin’?” Jeff suggested, I followed him, and looked around for my giant clumsy dog.

“I don’t know how Apollo could even fit in there, but maybe?” We walked up to the dog house and I felt relieved seeing his big stupid face. “There you are, buddy!” I whispered as I pet his head. He and Nerf were cuddled up asleep, Apollo being the big spoon of course.

“Aww, they musta been tired after runnin’ all day!” He crouched down and pet his dog. Apollo and Nerf finally woke up, stretching and thumping their tails as they noticed us.

“They seem to really like each other.” I glanced at Jeff, noticing a cute dimple appearing in his cheek.
