1. What will most easily provoke this character to violence, if anything will?

Sylaise is not actually that hard to provoke into violence, though she prefers to deliver it indirectly unless she’s making a show of strength. She’s not likely to do more than slap you, but she will definitely have you killed for pissing her off (in universes where she can, anyway).

2. What’s most likely to give your character an awful nails-on-a-chalkboard feeling without really hurting them?

Disarray. Stuff stuck in your teeth. A strand of hair out of place. A corner of someone’s shirt untucked while the rest is tucked. That kind of stuff.

3. What is the pettiest thing they’ve ever done?

She has, on multiple occasions, built actual walls around Falon’Din’s shit so she doesn’t have to look at it. Dirthamen’s, sometimes, too.

4. Have they ever committed any minor crimes (i.e. picked a pocket, vandalized property, accidentally stolen a pen from the bank, etc)?

Nope, it’s go big or go home with Sylaise. Either she’s sending spies and assassins and committing war crimes, or she’s following the rules (often because she makes them, or else her mom does).

5. What’s the meanest thing they might do to a loved one?

I mean, that’s a high threshold, but taking her family into account... but, probably gaslighting. 

6. Are they vengeful?

Sylaise can let grudges go, if they’re not too big, but for the most part? Yes.

7. How good are they at gritting their teeth and putting up with someone they don’t like?

She’s one of the best in her family at this, though she usually needs to recover from the process by spending time around people and things she really likes afterwards.

8. What are their pet peeves?

Vandalism. In all AU’s, like she might get on board with street art but it would have to be the kind that makes a definite improvement to things in her eyes, otherwise you’re just being an untidy, contrary shit, in her opinion.

9. What is a non-threatening situation that they would be absolutely desperate to avoid (i.e. standing in line at the DMV, filing taxes, enduring a family get-together with unlikable relatives, etc).

She’s not a big fan of warehouse stores or self-serve gas stations in modern AU’s, she prefers to interact with people when she’s making transactions. She also doesn’t like phoning automated systems or sending e-mails. In Elvhenan, she hates dealing with Falon’Din. She would exclude him from all her invitations if she could.

10. What is their most obnoxious quality, in your opinion?

chloe: going to starbucks just for free wifi, multicolored hair, staying up on new years eve, doodling on your hands and knees, punk music, forest green.
