2. Favorite part of writing.answered here in more detail, but in short, my favorite part is getting to share it! i write for myself first and foremost, but if i'm happy with what i've made, there's nothing more wonderful than getting to experience it with others!Â
3. Least favorite part of writing.initial rough drafts. uuugh. for most projects, getting the story out of my head and onto the page for the first time is the most difficult part. i tend to get overwhelmed by the disparity between my ideas and my skill level, or discouraged when it's not turning out the way i imagined, or demotivated when i realize i'm going to have to rewrite a lot of it. that's why nanowrimo has worked so well for both my original novels! it motivates me to get a first draft done as quickly as possible so that i have something to work with!
10. Pick a writer to co-write a book with and tell us what you’d write about.answered here!
23. Single or multi POV, and why?definitely multiple povs!! i love the freedom it gives me—getting to explore different characters' perspectives on a situation and on one another, getting to show all their different motivations and the subtleties of all sides of a conflict... i usually do dual or rotating povs for any project longer than 5k. :')
47. Do you start with characters or plot when working on a new story?since most of my original projects have big fantasy elements, i tend to come up with the character and the situation first! like "what if [this] happened to [this kind of character]." and from there, i usually develop the world and the characters together! because i love character-driven stuff so much, the plot sometimes doesn't come together until after the whole first draft, omg.
