This in itself it sort of saying “Well, about 25% of the infected people are women, so we’re just going to focus on women. Screw the 75% of the rest of the people who get it!”
Everyone regardless of sex, sexual orientation, race, gender, religion, ect runs the risk of contracting HIV. Some activities are more risky than others. Whether you’re trans or cis you should get tested. Straight or not you should get tested.

Out of the 365 days of the year, this specific day is for WOMEN & GIRLS. That's why it's called NATIONAL WOMEN & GIRLS HIV/AIDS AWARENESS DAY!!! Today is all about WOMEN & GIRLS. In December it was World AIDS Day. That day was about EVERYBODY. National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day took place last month...if you're not black, would you have had an issue with that too? This is exactly what we were talking about on International Women's Day. Whenever there's a specific awareness day dealing with race, gender or sexuality, there's always someone who has an issue with the fact that it isn't inclusive. Put aside your issues for one day, and just deal with the fact that today is all about spreading awareness about the impact of HIV/AIDS on Women & Girls. If you identify as a woman, then what exactly is your freaking problem. GEEZ!
