the pins are really, really clean and crisp and i love them.
i have a few concerns with the keychain unfortunately, the tail is absolutely going to tear off at some point because of how thin it gets and the way it’s cut. also it’s a little unfortunate the way the keychains were cut, because it looks like they have some stray cuts, but really it was just the decision to follow the actual kacheek lines too closely. in particular i think the three places i’ve circled below were just... not necessary, and even where the tail meets the body has an unnecessary cut, which looks great to keep that lineart in a pin, but you didn’t need that for the keychain
all of that said though, I still really love my keychain and i’m so happy to see some official merch!!

My favorite thing about FFXIV’s story and what cements this game as one of my favorites of all time is the incredible amount of faith it has in humanity. The narrative acknowledges the deepest depths of despair and nihilism, and shows you the worst the world has to offer. Then... it offers the player a hand up and proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that, despite it all, people are good and the world is worth saving. That the future is worth fighting for. That life is worth living.
It’s such a breath of fresh air.
I know this is a huge reach but I like to think that Elidibus finally realized who the WoL was when they used Azem’s signature incantation to summon Emet-Selch during the Seat of Sacrifice - Maybe a flicker of recognition, or a feeling that he couldn’t place.
It’s really funny to me that so many people’s first impression of Aymeric upon meeting him in A Realm Reborn was “this guy is too pretty he must be evil”. As it turns out he’s one of the most morally upstanding and virtuous characters in the whole game!
