Truly heartbreaking. As the quote at the beginning says, children do not start wars neither are able to end them. But they are ones who are effected by war the most.
I hope the following future I will be able to do more volunteering work other than non-combat (although current circumstances I may have to stick with non-combat roles). And this help will not stop even after the war. For the many months I have been in Ukraine volunteering previously I felt this sense of closeness there. From the people I have met, from meeting my friend's side of the family (whom are unfortunately have passed except for his father). Looking forward to return next year and help as much as I can.
