[We interrupt your regularly scheduled night elves for a little peek at @ladyknightradiant‘s lovely blood elf.]
Nemosyne stared in disbelief at the four pillars of creation, casually set in the depths of Dalaran as if they were somehow more secure here than anywhere else. It was partially disbelief at Khadgar’s assumption of security, but it was mostly disbelief of a more personal nature.
“One left,” the troll standing behind her said.
“It hardly seems real,” Nem murmured. “After everything…”
One thing had to another, after all. One day, she’d been patrolling the peak near the lodge. Next, she’d been volunteered to clean up some demons that were slipping past the demon hunters in Azsuna. One case of mistaken identity later, and she’d found herself dragged all over the Isles, and somehow…
Somehow, she’d ended up here, staring at four of the most powerful items in creation, knowing that she had had a hand in bringing them. Mona thumped her shoulder lightly. “C’mon, we should be celebrating. Or planning. Maybe a bit of both.” She grinned at Nem.
Nem nodded distractedly. “Yep, probably.” She wanted to go curl up in a corner and sleep for a week. She wanted to seriously evaluate her life choices. Instead, she followed Mona up into the cloudy streets of Dalaran, certain that no amount of preparation would help her weather the storm.
