As most of you saw in the latest update, I'm going through a not-so-good time. To be quite honest, that's why I sort of disappeared for a while: having my aunt with cancer and my grandma's health decaying, things were very chaotic, to say the least.
It's all mostly settled, now. Things have gone pretty quiet and it's as if life has frozen still - which, all things considered, is a good thing.
I'm having time to pick up everything I left behind and resume all the things I was doing - so, good news in this household:
I wrote the guideline for the last two chapters of Nemesis. This is amazing, 'cause now I have a clear direction to get to the ending; just have to write the middle!
I picked up where I left of in Nemesis and now I'm having time to calmly proof-read and post what I already wrote and couldn't post before;
I'm back to writing little prompts again. Small ideas, but I'm getting stuck in the middle and stopping. So there's a possibility I'll just write random small stuff to get back in the game;
I am, though, a little apathetic and having a hard time feeling and wanting to do things. So, I figured, "hey, DMC is always a thing that helps me out during numb times, I've nothing to lose trying to make 5 run on my cardboard laptop - the worst that can happen is it won't work"
And, after such a long time, I managed to make it run even without the minimal specs. I am flabbergasted at the optimization of this game and that it fucking runs smoothly in a willpower-and-prayer powered laptop like mine - and it looks pretty still. I spent the first 10min of the game staring at Nero and going "boy, you are SO BEAUTIFUL"
Hopefully, my adventures with it will be enough to spark some creativity so I can bring new things to you guys (maybe some more Nero and V, who knows...?). I'm just hoping judgement cut end doesn't crash my laptop :')
In the meantime, I hope you are all doing well - that you are safe, healthy and life's running smoothly to all of you. Thank you guys for being here all this time and for having patience with yours truly; now that life has forcefully settled for me, I'll be able to be more active and pick up where I left of.

I want to give you an estimated time but the muse is fickle and Nemesis in particular is a long process to write for me. It's the only one that gets beta read and goes through multiple edits and legit planning.
I can tell you though that everything until the very end has been outlined and I have started writing the next chapter. The next two chapters focus on Billy x Reader.
While I can't give you an estimated time, here's some stuff that you can look forward to in the story.

We left off in the last chapter with Nemesis for the first time facing something close to her objective for her revenge. This triggered every single trauma she had and opened up scars that had barely healed.
She is in full war dog mode now. Frank and Billy will have their hands full in keeping her reined in. She's going to completely get consumed by her anger and sadness.
Billy is essential to pulling her back with his humor and his desire to preserve what little humanity Nemesis still has in her.
The next two chapters will see their relationship develop to something more and Billy will get them a big lead on the case, but Billy is still Billy and he is no stranger to betraying his friends.
It ramps up really fast from here and this is right before we meet Matt.
