“Sunshine After Rainfall”
“Hey look! The sky’s clearing up!” Neighthan said as ran out from their shade and chased the sun. He beckoned Garrott to follow. “Don’t worry, the rain’s gone now so it’s safe.”
Garrott followed close behind, looking out for puddles his boyfriend could potentially slip on as he ran off. He knew the zombicorn had a reputation for being clumsy after all.
“Careful!” Garrott exclaimed. He pulled Neighthan back just as he was about to slip, catching Neighthan before he could fall into the mud in one of the nearby planters. He then linked their hands together. “Perhaps it’s best we stay close.”
Neighthan nodded. And for the rest of that day, Neighthan didn’t need to worry about slipping on puddles or falling into gutter water. Because true to his word, Garrott was always there to catch him.
((For some reason, every time I’ve taken Neighthan and Garrott out so far, it’s always been shortly after it rains. So I tried to write something based off that odd coincidence.))
