her parents had lilly for the weekend, which basically tore her apart. she goes out of her mind when she’s all alone. her daughter is her source of sanity, and she’s gone for the next few days. crash is out doing god knows what, and she’s just sitting on the kitchen counter, slightly intoxicated. she dials his number and presses the speaker button. “baby.” she murmurs into the phone. her nose scrunches up after she realizes what she’s just called him. it felt foreign - they hadn’t been together in months. “come home, please.” 

The girl was in New York City, it was short ways away from the airport but at least two hours away from where she grew up. She had flown in for the holidays to see her parents and brothers, currently right now she was going to get pizza considering that her stomach was growling and loudly at that. She wasn’t looking considering her focus was on walking and to find food that she had bumped into someone that had, many tattoos. “God, I am so sorry. I wasn’t looking.”

She’s giggling –– and she can’t stop. “No, no.. it’s not funny..” But she’s still laughing. “It’s just that, you’re trying to give me excuses - and I’m not even mad.”

“My – house? We definitely don’t need to go there. My mom’s having one of her parties. You don’t want to go, trust me.”
