it is very funny that stranger things 5 only got technical noms at the emmys haha it sucked whatever but also like. idk man I'm kinda sad that something I cared about ended in such a way that the idea of it underperforming at a major awards show is a funny dunk rather than an outrage. I didn't want it to be bad! I wanted it to be good!

okay I remembered what that draft was about. I'm up mourning the potential of vecna. I liked a lot of what they did with him in s4 and I wish they had leaned into it more because the vecna-ing sequences were legitimately scary (for me, at least), and I think they were a clever way to tie together the spectacle + the character aspects of the season. obviously those sequences served a specific purpose for vecna at that time in-universe, so it shouldn't have been the exact same in s5, but my point is that it was a good way to use that type of villain and I wish they had been a little more thoughtful with the same villain in the following season.

real talk: how do you find people to follow who are a) nice/easygoing/calm and b) generally aligned with you on fandom interests because I keep finding people who are only one or the other (or neither 🫩) and that is not ideal
