How To Scan A Negative (really quickly but also a bit shit)
1. use your phone camera out of sheer laziness to take a photo of the negative about 5cm above a bright screen. open it in lightroom (the free app one, obviously)
2. completely invert the curve (from / to \) in order to invert the colours. if you're using colour film, there's an orange/blue tint to it, so open "color" and use the dropper to pick from the whitest part of the image. mess around with it a bit
3. crop it. that's it. now you've got a shitty scan from your shitty negative! for better results, use a better camera or scanner, and spend more time on it. that's literally all there is to it.
