I totally meant to post sooner than this but to be honest, I've had a relatively boring life since my last post. Other than the usual badly executed sex jokes you can find in any high school across the US, it's been a few pretty slow, monotonous days.
Some exciting news! I get my braces off tomorrow! Of course, this isn't really a big deal to anyone but me but I'm actually really glad to be getting them off before I leave for Harvard this summer. This also means I can finally get rid of the six unfinished bags of rubber bands sitting on my dresser. Woohoo!
I don't actually have anything else to say- except, look at that number! I really should start packing... or planning to pack- I guess we can go with making this post a sort of About Me post!
Let's go with random questions! (Chosen by a random number generator and a tumblr meme.)
Ever had a rumor spread about you?
Seriously? Who hasn't? There are none that immediately come to mind but I'm sure there's some. Oh wait! I have one. I'm very involved in the theater/ music department at my school and someone spread the rumor that I said a friend of mine was singing flat all the time. That's completely untrue because I have a very hard time differentiating flat from normal when I have nothing to compare to. It was seemingly harmless but it became a huge fight between Topher and I. It just wasn't a fun time but we're over it and very close friends now.
Give me the first thing that comes to mind when you hear the word; heart.
Passion. For me, love is always passion in one form or another and passion comes from your heart.
Do you have a collection of anything?
Books, used notebooks, dead pointe shoes, hair flowers and bows, Disney pins, and keychains from dance competitions.
Art is putting a piece of yourself out there for others to see, even if you're behind something else. A painting, a dance, a monologue, a sculpture, a book, a song. Anything.
What's your biggest "what if"?
"What if they're all just pretending to like me?" "What if these smarts really don't take me anywhere?" "What if I'm forgotten?"
Where were you yesterday?
I was home, at my grandma's house, and at a local college for my friends' dance recital. They were all fabulous.
East Coast or West Coast?
East Coast. It's where I've lived my entire life and where I plan on staying. I love it here.
Is that enough? No not really. Send me more questions to get to know me. My ask is open.
