I wrote this fic last summer, and the first bind pictured here was the second thing I ever typeset, even though I didn't actually bind it until this February.
A lot of things had to happen before I could post these photos: I had to actually finish the bind. I had to receive and include the illustrations in the typeset. I had to actually publish the fic to Ao3. I had to deliver the second bind to said illustrator as a birthday present.
But all of those are complete, so here we are!
This fic is very horny and very sad. It was the only way my brain would let me make them bang, and I had to be in a very specific mindset in order to finish the end of it.
As for the books themselves, the first is following DAS Bookbinding's tutorial on a single section pamphlet bind, whereas the second is more of a hybrid between that method and a standard case binding. Pamphlet binding is fun! I hope to do more soon.
Season 2 soon pls ;A; EDIT: I originally saved a draft of this post to put up when I uploaded the fic to Ao3, did so, and then completely forgot. 🙃 S2 has of course already come and gone and it was fantastic, and I'd love to write something new and less sad but I kind of have no notes and don't feel like I need to add anything, lol...
