All right, time for an assessment! LONG POST AHEAD! I am human, just like you. I have amazing days, and not so great days. Moments like these I stop, and evaluate... top photo, is a set i was (and am still!) proud of. That set was two days worth of work, as I did them for one of my favorite shoots. By the time I was done with those lashes and styling them, and did maybe a max of 5D of .05 and .07D curls (8,10,12,14)... that set took me probably close to 5/6 hours of work. YES, you read that right.... Fast forward 7 months later. Same model as above. The picture below is 6(+) D. All .04 C curl lashes ranging in 7-15. This full set took me 3 hours (although I would have loved an extra hour!) An hour and 30 minutes on each side. I personally know my flaws in each of these photos. I also notice my corrections from the previous photo. The styling is different. My fans are wider. The lash diameters are thinner (harder to work with for some). The work is cleaner. I know I have a long way to go, but I am proud of where I came from. Anyone who thinks being a lash professional is easy is sadly mistaken. It takes a lot of skill, knowledge and humility. And if you dont have the skill from the beginning, you need the drive to want to learn, and to push yourself. <3 Love, Light & Lashes www.amethystlounge.com #americaneyelashassociation #neesapro #amethystlounge #londonbrows #ctlashstylist #lashartistct #connecticut (at Amethyst Lounge, LLC)
