A very happy Valentine's Day to you all. I'm sat here eating curly fries, watching Netflix and wishing one of my book boyfriends was real. • Fun story time; I really wanted curly fries so once I got home from uni I went off to Asda with one thing in mind, "get me dem curly fries." So there I am entering the chocolate section bc 'treat yo self', and BAM, all I see is a hoard of guys with those roses grabbing dem chocolates. • To save thyself I slowly backed away and fled for my life. All I could think was, "SHAME ON YOU, SHAME ON YOUR COW FOR BEING LATE FOR YOUR OTHER HALF." (WADDUP Mulan reference) • Don't worry guys, I got my chocolates and curly fries, so I'm a happy camper. So I sit here and wonder, "will those girls realise how late their men were?!" 🤔😂 • Hope you all have a lovely day, I'm super tired and sleepy. But Netflix calls to me. The happiest of book birthday to @therealsjmaas for Empire of Storms which is out today!!! I love this world so so much, the characters are everything, the writing is phenomenal and I cannot wait to read Empire of Storms. Which, sadly, hasn't arrived yet bc my luck with pre-ordering is just shitty. I succumbed to the bonus short story in the Whsmith exclusive edition and now I suffer. • Despite my different opinion to all those who loved Queen of Shadows - it wasn't my favourite. Certain things happened and certain characters acted in ways that I didn't really like. That's not to say it wasn't a great read, bc it was and half the shit that happened left me shocked and wanting more. • Today was pretty crazy, I was forced to go out with my sisters when really I just wanted to stay in bed and read. They didn't even let me go to a bookstore, rude, I know. • I'm currently browsing Amazon books and decided on what to buy, but when the time comes to actually buying, I have NO idea what to get.
