Alright, Imma go on a rant.

So this week has been insanely stressful for me and everyone in my class (keep in mind this is a college prep private school That I must attend.) Many people in my grade that are in AP and honors classes have 4 to 5 full-length papers/projects they’ve had to do this week. YES, I UNDERSTAND that midterm exams are coming up and teachers are scrambling to get assignments graded, but COME ON. I have nearly been driven INSANE by this. My therapist agrees. Lemme write down all my assignments:

College Scholarship (didn’t get done yet... probably won’t.)

High school Scholarship (5 separate creative writings, each about 12 pages long)

Recitation of two pages of catechism (Thank you, my horrible theology teacher. I hate you.)

Algebra practice quiz

Algebra assignment(algebra takes me at least an hour and a half each night. They give us A TON)

English paper outline (4-page paper)

Online history assignment

St.Augustine’s confessions Chapters 3-4 (due today, still haven’t done)

Confessions Paper due next week

Two physics packets, each four pages long

History discussion notes

English draft 1 (different from the outline)

Algebra online notes

Another algebra assignment

Another page of notes to teach OURSELVES because our teacher ditched

The homework that goes with the notes we taught ourselves

Finish art foundations project

Practice instrument 

Edit two other peer’s english papers as well as my own.

Like, really? WE ARE NOT MACHINES! We need rest, and time to enjoy our lives. AND, I have learning/memory issues as well as ADHD, and my school knows this, but, leem tell ya, this week’s been HELL. This isn’t just private schools. This is PUBLIC TOO.

I’ve been so stressed that I couldn’t even cry because I’ve been academically NUMB. This needs to be addressed. I haven’t had a day to sleep in and enjoy life for myself in literal months. not exaggerating.

NOTICE: I understand that I am supposedly WASTING homework tme writing this out, but I’m actually in history class as I’m writing this (I just stood up and gave a presentation. Oh, guess I’ll add history presentation to the list of above assignments...), so do not come for me, saying I’m creating my own problem. I’m merely trying to stand up for myself.
