yes but I don’t even think that that’s got to do with reducing everything to smut. “yaoi on ice” is just supposed to be funny and I didn’t even find it funny the first time but understood the appeal of the joke but now it’s getting just plain annoying because it’s been seven weeks tbh
And the other part, the “history making” kiss, feels just as uninspired. Dense. Lazy. First of all, a kiss doesn’t make history, much less so an anime kiss. Wtf people. Also have people forgot about No.6? Also, there are several parts of the ending song that would fit that kiss scene better but it’s much more convenient to overuse that one phrase from the opening that we’ve heard in overabundance already and doesn’t feel special anymore at all by now
