“It’s a pleasure to meet you, Lord Stark,” You said, giving a very polite curtsy, your eyes on the warm green ones of Eddard Stark, noting how green those eyes truly were, such a rare shade. The man had a welcoming smile as while, though he also looked a little surprised that a Lannister actually seemed to be genuine with him, and not just because there were eyes on us. Ned was a very kind host, giving the tour of Winterfell to you, your sister, your two brothers, your brother-in law the King, and your very annoying nephew, Joffrey. You were the only paying any attention, while you could hear your family complaining about the cold, and about their own stomachs. You felt it too, but just looking at Ned, your brain was racing with thoughts that made you feel plenty warm. Your eyes were locked onto him, nodding at his information, asking questions, and standing quite close to him. You even saw him flush a little bit. “And I’ll meet you in the dining hall after you’ve finished dressing,” The Lord of Winterfell said, bowing to you in particular, which made you smile. You had this instinct to just pat him on the head, or run your fingers through his sandy-colored locks, but you restrained yourself. Mostly because you could feel your brother, Jaime, had his eyes on you, watching you with a scoff. “I’m greatly looking forward to it, Lord Stark,” You returned, giving him another curtsy, wishing you had worn something a little more low-cut despite the cold. Most of your siblings went into the rooms that they had been given for their trip but your brother Jaime followed you into yours, closing the door behind him. “Must you try to sink your claws into every Lord that we come across?” He asked, crossing his arms. You laughed lightly and went to the basin of water meant for washing, dipping your hands inside of it. “This one’s different Jaime, I can feel it,” You said, your voice full of excitement. “And he didn’t introduce us to his wife first thing. That’s always a good omen for me.” “You said that about the last three Lords-” Jaime grumbled. “How is father supposed to find someone to marry you, when you’re known for throwing yourself at everyone?” “And who are you to speak, when you lay with our sister?” You asked, lightly. There wasn’t much judgment there, but that’s because it was a well known secret among your family. All of you knew. “Don’t you worry, I won’t embarrass you. I’ll make sure that when we leave, dear brother, Lord Stark is going to be thinking very fondly of me.” You smiled as you started to remove the large fur you were wearing, slipping into something smaller, something sleeker. “Very fondly indeed."
