Two episodes left and I've finished Poldark. Series 5 is... Different indeed. But still very good. Less twists of fate leaving you breathless and shaking with stress, more 19th century British court political conspiracies and social commentary. I applaud Ross' loyalty and admiration for his friend but I would have jumped ship ages ago, sorry not sorry. Ned is way too much problem and not enough self-preservation. Like Brother Sam would say : help yourself and the heavens will help you - do everything in your power to appear like a rebellious, violent, angry man and mate, I'm not following you down the drain.
