🦋Total Facelift (forehead, face and neck lift) Explanation for my Plastic, Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery colleagues and patients❗️

👍Includes upper (forehead), mid-face (roughly the distance between the eyebrows and lips) and lower (neck) lift surgeries.

👍Depending on the patient, a full facelift or only a neck lift can be performed!

👍In a neck lift surgery, excess tissue can be removed by making an incision from the submental (below the chin) line.

👍In suitable patients, liposuction (ideally using Endolift laser) and platysma muscle tightening (plication) can also be performed for neck and chin lifts.

👍Using mini drains is safe in neck and face lifts.

👍It is recommended that the patient and the plastic surgeon agree on this beforehand!

👍In our opinion, facelift (total facelift) surgery should be performed by very experienced surgeons!

👍For example, I did not accept these surgeries without having performed at least 50 facelift surgeries.

👍Our clinic performs an average of 130-145 facelift surgeries per year (in the last 8 years).

👍What I want to say to Plastic, Aesthetic and Reconstructive surgeons is;

1) The temporal and maxillary artery perforations and the facial nerve branches originating from the parotid gland are highly variable, not to mention the cross-sections!

2) Do not touch the area around the eyes during the same operation! Fat injection and/or regenerated cells are unnecessary; you will achieve a maximum success rate of 1-10%!

3) Do not touch the frontal lobe; use botulinum toxin, etc., and postpone or evaluate later!

4) New ablative lasers are seriously effective in middle-grade patients; I have them in my clinic, and the result is...?

👉The first rule of medicine is 'there are no errors, only patients.' Very effective in correctly analyzed patients (!), but it will not have an economic return!
