Planet Xyloren, viewed from orbit, is striking with its vast turquoise hue, interrupted only by swirling white cyclical storms and specks of bright, crystal-like reflections. Unique in its composition, the planet's surface consists largely of silicon dioxide sands, which, under specific atmospheric pressure and temperature, crystallize forming reflective, glass-like particles. On the surface, extreme conditions prevail; frequent sandstorms veil the landscape in a shimmering sheath of crystal dust. These storms, a result of the intense heat gradients between the equatorial zone and poles, scatter light in a spectacular display of rainbow-like halos. The sands themselves, ranging from fine grains to larger, jagged crystals, shift continually, creating and eroding vast dunes and ridges over time. Such a dynamic and visually dramatic environment offers intriguing possibilities for studying planetary weather patterns and geological evolution.
