hi! i think there isnt a current active mod on this blog, but if there is and you need help i would love to assist. i'm a nearly lifelong wolfquest player and generally know where to go about most questions folks have.

A lot of my attention these days is on the Discord servers and the Subreddit, but I do still check in here every once in a while. Wish I could still do the same with the OG community forum... (so much for it going "read-only".)

Nowadays this blog doesn't see as much activity as those, so adding people to help out here isn't a huge priority at the moment. I will make a post if ever that changes.

Do you think wolfquest might get wolfdog coats in the future, that you can give to your wolves? Like Brindle, Sable, agouti, or others? I think, it would be realistic? More customization would be neat. It would probably be a DLC. Just some point in the future, since the devs are working on other stuff right now.

Can't speak for the developer -- but I do have my doubts. Lost River is the only fictitious location in the entire game where they'd make any sense.

Since the name of the game isn't DogQuest and the story was originally set in Yellowstone National Park, imo it's better for them to stick with customizations that won't take away from the theme of playing as a wild wolf.

How long does the demo game on Steam last? Does it have a play limit?

For WolfQuest: Classic? There's no play limit, however you cannot access everything the game has to offer.

E.g., you can play the full first episode (Amethyst Mountain), but the full second episode (Slough Creek) requires purchase of the full game.

Hey I'm only like 13 when are you going to make a Wolf Quest for Xbox One or Xbox Series X I have a Xbox Series X and I really want to play your game and I don't have a PC. I have always loved wolves and such and I rather have Wolf Quest 3 on Xbox

The devs don't often give out specific information until their plans and any internal deadlines they may set themselves in private are solid.

Once the game is completed on PC/Mac, we will consider porting the game to other platforms.

Note that so far, only mobile is known to be in planned when the game leaves Early Access. Very little else is known beyond that. Looks like recent blogs have stopped including this part of the footnote spiel.

If you've bought Anniversary Edition from Steam, is Steam the only way to play it? I don't use Steam anymore, because it is spyware, but is there a way to get the game from the website without paying additionally or do I buy it once again?

You would have to buy it again via itch.io.

AFAIK all storefronts offer the Classic-Anniversary bundle deal, though the incentives differ.

Will y’all eventually let you customize your own wolf like the way it looks and what patterns it gets

Due to the amount of moderation this would require and combined with the small size of the WolfQuest Team, designing your own coats seems to be an unlikely feature // probably won't be implemented.

In the unlikely event that it did happen, it would most likely have some extremely rigid rules.

Devs are probably aware of this request, but it's always worth a reminder to submit ideas and suggestions in-game via F11 or Esc → "Bug Report" and toggled the dropdown menu to "Feedback".

will you guys use the models you made for tower fall around 2018 for the saga?

There wasn't much focus on the development of Tower Fall in 2018. In those early days, Tower Fall's development was put on hold to shift focus over to core/essential elements on the game.

If you mean the map as we saw it and the "teen pup" teased back in 2017...
