very butch butch (had arguments over "youre not really a woman youre just a man" a few times. not a trans woman, just incredibly masculine) and honestly i still dont understand how any girl could ever love someone like me. femme x femme everywhere and why would any lesbian be into what may as well be a man, especially while there are so many better options. butch x butch, even butch x femme looks like fantasy more than reality to me, especially with someone who looks like me.

National Day of Silence
April 21st is the National Day of Silence, a protest against homophobic bullying and the silencing effects it has on lesbian, gay, and bisexual youths. On this day, we will posting (but not responding to) anonymous “confessions”, or what you would like to say but don’t because of fear of judgement or harassment from your straight peers.
National Day of silence is tomorrow btw, but you can start sending submissions in whenever! If you’ve already sent one in we’re seen it, but we only start posting at noon tomorrow.
Some topics that are really taboo in the LGB community are
internalized homophobia, lesbophobia, biphobia, ect
feeling like you don’t fit in enough or aren’t wanted
gay loneliness
high rates of depression/suicide/alcoholism/mental illness/homelessness in LGB teens
everything butch and GNC women face (”are you going to transition to become a man someday?” “do you want to be a man?” “butch women aren’t real women, they’re just straight men” ect ect ect, that constant pressure to conform one way or another)
feeling unable to come out, or not wanting to
rape and sexual assault within the community
detransition and deidentification
feelings of hopelessness or isolation
We will post any and all experiences, and tag appropriately. All will be tagged with NDOS (National Day of Silence) and have trigger warnings.
Thanks guys!
Just a reminder that tomorrow for National Day of Silence (a protest against homophobic bullying and the silencing effects it has on lesbian, gay, and bisexual youths), we will be posting (but not responding to) anonymous “confessions” of what you would like to say but don’t because of fear of judgement or harassment from your straight peers. We’re not accepting any other type of confession.

Confession: I can't say out loud that women are sexy and I want them the way straight women can. Between the outright homophobia and the "allies" who get everything from Soft Sapphic Tumblr™ I'm reduced to only being able to say "girls are so pretty uwu i'm a smol lesbean!!!" And it's so alienating to have my lesbianism reduced to ~soft teen aesthetic~ when straight women can say "ugh fuck me please" about male celebrities but I'm not allowed to say the same, even about other lesbians.

I've been closeted for almost 30 years now and it took me over a decade to come to terms with my homosexuality and my attraction to women and their bodies, and now the new wave of 'queer' kiddies are out to say that attraction is wrong? I've never considered anything biologically male attractive because I wasn't born with that attraction. In fact, I didn't know I had any sexuality for a long time because I actually lost attraction and was and am very turned off and perturbed by the phallus.
.
My sexual interactions with men haunt me to this day, even though they were completely voluntary. I don't understand what possessed me to do them, and I've always questioned my sexuality because of this. I wish I could just erase this part of me; every time I think about it it makes me ill. Being able to let go would make my life a lot easier, but I always feel like I have something to hide if I don't tell my partner.
