So I attended my 2nd National Catholic Youth Conference last weekend and it was everything I could have asked for my senior year. I want to go back. The way I feel while surrounded by 25,000 teenagers from all over the USA who believe in the same things I do isn't able to be put into words. There, I can be my Jesus freak self -- the me I can't be at home. I can belt out Jesus songs and yell about my love for him in the streets and no one cares. Why? Because they're doing the same. 

People hear me talking about it and are like, "Oh god, church for 4 straight days". Uhm, sorry but no. NCYC is like a giant rock concert. It's in the Lucas Oil Stadium (where the colts play!) and there's a stage and crazy lights and thousands of people. It's magical. 

Coming back to reality is hard. My friends don't want to hear about it, even though it means so much to me. I can't be myself fully around them because they wouldn't like this side of me. So, I sit in bed and turn on my NCYC playlist where no one can see or hear me.
