[STATION : NCT LAB] MARK 마크 〖Golden Hour〗

Not gonna lie this was a pretty odd release because I wasn’t aware of it initially :”. It took me some time to interpret it too because I got carried away by my break... also, I was confused because of how the MV went so there was a delay for me to start this haha. But here’s my thoughts about it, though this one’s going to be short.

So In this MV, the Neos are shown to be playing around and having fun with two girls. This is supposed to portray a group of friends. Though it is rather odd that they only added two girls for the group, whether the girls are meant to represent something or somebody or not is still unknown. But for now, they are supposed to be a group of friends hanging out.

One observation, this MV was not shot like the usual NCT MV where they are inside a studio or a smaller location (e.g. in a building). It has a similar vibe to From Home, mainly because of the outdoor location in the field (tbh i still can’t tell if thats a field or a rice field? Or both?). But it also reminded me of TVXQ’s Rise As One which I did theorize to have connection with NCT’s lore. I’m talking about the outdoor landscape that looks somewhat similar. I believe these are the same location, a certain area in their Dreamscape. I have kept mentioning that their Dreamscape is like a desert, but perhaps there is another area in there that has this field.

Another important element is water and that also includes rain.
