Finally, a break from doing mundane excel stuff.
Update on the M&Ms project: Finally ordered labels and the freaking mail weighing machine. Can't weight to get the dimensions of boxes right and try to pack in some m&ms!
Twitter categorization: nothing. zzzzz.
I also told Danny that I can help him out in getting a collection of stories: Success in the CRE industry. Ideas: turning it into a campaign.

URGH. I'm so uncreative i think im going to die now.
in other news, first day of school today. Marketing class was an eye opener. Kind of. It feels like everything that i have seen in real life being translated into theory. I am pretty excited about exploring the campus and maybe meeting some NYU kids.
Kids, literally, because the guys are younger than me. WTF. People here graduate at 21. And I'm 22.
Dear Singapore, why you gotta be so mean.
I don't even wanna think about how singaporean guys feel about starting work so late.
Met Marilyn's friend, ben, for dinner.
He was an exchange student in NUS, and it was really eye opening to talk to someone with such a broad understanding of cultures. He understood what we (Singaporean kids) were going through, the culture shock of working in America/ living here. Because he went through the same stuff with Singaporeans.
1. Americans (new yorkers) do so much small talk ITS PAINFUL. It's so painful to answer "hey how's your day" with "oh its good" when I know that they don't really care. Its just their way of saying hi.
Singaporeans, hi means a smile and nod, and we busy ourselves with our lives. no pretension there.
2. New yorkers are direct at the same time (ITS CONFUSING) I need them to be straight forward. But sometimes, its hard to decipher if they're just being polite.
3. SARCASM. God, their sense of humour is sarcasm. Singaporean's lameness do not work here.
