some short random thoughts because I enjoyed the episode. It was a riot. Which is a nice change of pace, and in style with the lighter side of the show. I love Fornell (even tho I'd be tempted to suggest him to shave his back) and I'm really liking Bishop, she's stirring in the team (and the audience) the type of reaction a cute puppy would, she's fresh and has a sort of innocence that is surely endearing. There are still feels of "adjustment" here and there and it's noticeable the effort to make the new character shine, but it'll ease up and be fine for sure in the future.
On a personal note/feeling I must add that If I could say I hadn't liked it, I'd be more content, somehow. I'd grown accustomed to feel a different "tingling" watching NCIS. I used to watch it with a passion. It was "unique". Now it's like many other TV shows. Clearly this was a "light" episode. But I've been missing the undercurrent spark that was palpable before. I wouldn't say the reason is Ziva's absence or Bishop presence, in fact the show would benefit a lot with the two of them in same team at the same time, but I feel the lack of tension. I suffer that. It's like something has broken, badly. A quake. An explosion. And now it's all unbalanced. And as much as they try to fix it, it still resonates to me. And I still see remains all over the place. And I liked this episode a lot, go figure.
