Dragginā The Line, Austin Riddle, earthenware, 2023 - (Archie Bray Resident Artist - @queencityclay - 2023) #nceca2023 - really nice work hereā¦. ā¦ā¦ā¦ā¦ā¦ā¦ā¦..Very few artists here (if any) seem to be thinking of the work as parts and pierces in relationship to a larger wholeā¦ (it maybe due to only seeing āsomeā of the work on exhibitā¦.but itās as if the whole world exists in only one place , at one time-- in one pot (it may) for most - and they are nice too - but so self contained that itās hard to get into the same space with the artist - these larger multiples seem to be more open and inviting in my opinionā¦.
