How photographer David L. Ryan captured the shot:Â At Fish Pier, I noticed how the view with clouds and ships appeared with the sunlight behind me. The sun was covered on and off with the clouds. With 100mm-400mm lens I waited and was lucky to see another sailing ship pass along with a bird in the sky. The sun peeked out and I clicked off some frames. It does pay to wait and take more shots than you think.

Four navy fighter jets just flew over my house!
They are literally a million times louder than the planes from Logan! I thought they were going to crash into the house!!
20 from Navy, Marines help out at Pine Street Inn
Anthony Murphy has served in the Navy for nearly eight years. Visiting Boston this week for Navy Week, the 27-year-old boatswain's mate second class, was on a liberty day. He could have been doing anything he wanted on a warm, sunny Sunday afternoon. He used his day off to serve.
