Not Another Teen Wolf Podcast Episode #140 – World Domination Dreams
Stiles has a first name! Also, why must it always come back to Nazis? Find out in our recap of Teen Wolf season 6, episode 8, “Blitzkrieg.”
Featured Song: “Looking Too Closely” by Fink
– This episode featured the concept of the occult being used to aide the Nazi party in World War II.
– This happens in a lot of fiction. Why?
– Scott’s new plan to save Stiles is NOT one we expected, but we love Peter’s reaction.
– So what exactly is a Löwenmensch? We’ve got some anthropological deets.
– Karen appreciates Teen Wolf’s magical CGI flames, especially compared to certain other shows.
– How did Nazi Mr Douglass actually expect to use or control the Wild Hunt?
– Would you rather get shot in the head or fried by the portal?
– The Nazis are almost as good at preparing files as the Trump administration.
– What on earth is going on with Parrish’s “safety tank?” Are we meant to understand this?
– Is there gonna be a parental love triangle when Sheriff realizes he never had Claudia?
– Is everyone who was taken by the Ghost Riders – and it really was everyone – gonna make it back?
– We totally thought Peter was dead after his big hero moment.
– So, Sheriff remembers his son, and finally, the Stiles name reveal happened. What did we think?
– We watch the trailer for the next episode live on air and discuss what might be coming next.

Not Another Teen Wolf Podcast Episode #139 – Cold Blooded Hole Pushers
Karen and Natalie debate whether or not Theo can be trusted in our recap of Teen Wolf season 6, episode 7, “Heartless.”
Featured Song: “Murder Song (5, 4, 3, 2, 1)” by AURORA
– This was a very fast, very funny, very full episode.
– We’re curious about screenwriter credits and why they’re not more publicly promoted.
– Broken record: Malia is everything. But that elevator kick though!
– Theo’s cold open was shocking, as was his acquiescence.
– Do we believe in his innocence – should he be given a chance?
– We’re surprised at the pack’s willingness to immediately “kill” him again.
– Once more, the crux of the plot – trapping a Ghost Rider – involves so much SCIENCE.
– What the hell is going on with Parrish? Is he a servant of the Wild Hunt?
– Mr Douglas shows up – looks like the Nazi cat is out of the Nazi bag.
– But what’s his, or the Dread Doctors’, connection to the Wild Hunt?
– Also, Theo knows him, sure, but how does he know Theo? Did they like, get him out of the tank to chat?
– We have a couple of very different theories about the whip and the green glowing eyes.
– Are the nine herbs just a general deus ex machina cure-all now, or is there some logic?
– Karen likes the shedding skin effect because she’s gross.
– We now have Empirical Proof that Peter is a big ol’ self-sacrificing good guy loser.
– We also learn the truth about Caleb – he was conjured by the banshee, not the Ghost Riders.
– If Claudia’s the same, does that mean anyone can conjure such a phantom?
– Most importantly, is she aware of the truth, or is she an innocent – believing that her life is the truth?
– We’re glad things are improving with Natalie Martin, we have no time for difficult parents on this show.
– The Teen Wolf series finale is one of our most anticipated TV moments of the year – what are we currently hoping for?

Not Another Teen Wolf Podcast Episode #138 – Remember When We Were Evil?
Teen Wolf is back for 2017 – Karen and Natalie follow the pack to the ghost town Canaan in our recap of season 6, episode 6, “Ghosted.”
Featured Song: “Hungry Like The Wolf” by Duran Duran
– Sorry we’re late – some of us just had to go and get sick.
– This is the famed “time travel” episode – maybe not the best way to describe what actually happened?
– We’re glad it wasn’t real time travel though.
– The senior pack vs junior pack divide continues…
– Why does the Wild Hunt leave banshees behind?
– And what the hell is with them bringing back that dead child?
– This has got to be a parallel for the situation with Claudia, right?
– Have we ever seen an actual straight-up ghost before on Teen Wolf? Is that actually what Caleb is?
– Why are the Ghost Riders stuck in Beacon Hills – is the town trapping them there?
– This episode makes Lydia feel like the main character of the show.
– Was there a point to Chris Argent’s herbal remedies – besides from the chance to linger on #mechrissa hand-holding?
– Hang on, shouldn’t this be precisely what Deaton is for?
– What’s with Mr Douglas setting himself up as an “oblivious ally?” And how do the kids not realize that he’s a werewolf?
– HOLY CRAP OUT OF NOWHERE IT’S NOSHIKO YUKIMURA.
– Liam’s choices are extremely questionable – we did not expect Theo’s return to be down to him.
– However, we are happy to see Theo back – he and Mr Douglas seem to share some secrets.
– We power through a ton of feedback from listeners including: a theory about Claudia’s evilness, a theory about Peter’s evilness, a question about Australian conventions, and much more.

-Weekly appreciation for Malia.
-Yes, Lydia’s visions were of people from the train station.
-Why is Stiles so aware of the situation?
-Are all these numbers significant?

-He was looking pretty scruffy.
-Should we forget everything Peter has done in the past?
-Natalie ignores Karen’s deep v-neck joke.

Not Another Teen Wolf Podcast Episode #136 – Mechrissa
Join Karen and Natalie for a recap of Teen Wolf season 6, episode 4, “Relics,” where the pack tries to look for whatever Stiles left behind.
Featured Song: “XXX” by XXX
-We’re still a hot mess. How have we been doing this for four years?
-Welcome back to the Shelley Hennig Fan Club.
-We love seeing the difference between Melissa as a mom and Melissa as a peer.
-Also she’s just super funny.
-#Mechrissa
-We got some answers about how mountain ash works.
-Karen’s priorities are slightly different than Natalie’s.
-Mason is so smart.
-Science.
-They’re really pushing Teen Wolf: The Next Generation.
-That scene about the sheriff and the bat gave us feels.
-Reminder: The Ghost Riders haven’t actually changed reality. They’ve just wiped memories.
-We read out a theory about why Elias may remember Stiles.
-What was the man trying to say to Lydia?
-CLAUDIA IS EVIL. CLAUDIA IS EVIL. CLAUDIA IS EVIL.
-What do all those kids think of the Argent bunker?
-Chris probably lives in the woods now.
-JR Bourne has onscreen chemistry with everyoneee.
-Chris wants to help Malia and we’re so here for it.
-Will they remember all of this once Stiles returns?
-Chris Argent: Supernatural Dad
-Nathan. Is. So. Annoying.
-But fear is a powerful thing.
-Why didn’t the Ghost Riders take any members of the pack?
-What happened to Parrish?
-Mrs. Martin wasn’t awful in this episode!
-There are definitely some red flags coming up regarding Claudia.
-We talk about the differences between Melissa and the sheriff and Melissa and Chris.
-Seeing Scott and Malia give up on Stiles was so sad.
-ROSCOE.
-Liam becomes team captain and leader of his own mini pack.

Not Another Teen Wolf Podcast Episode #135 – Do Not Ingest
As our heroes try to remember one Stiles Stilinski, join Karen and Natalie for a recap of Teen Wolf season 6, episode 3, “Sundowning.”
Featured Song: “Sun Goes Down” by Robin Schulz
-This is two weeks in a row we remembered our favorite quotes. Go us!
-Natalie remarks on the hilarity of Scott calling out Liam for throwing a party.
-Karen just can’t let Mrs. Martin off the hook.
-This episode was written by Will Wallace.
-Mr. Douglas has 99 problems and power is definitely one of them.
-Is he allergic to magnets?
-Seventy years in a tank is not good for your mental or physical health.
-Why is Mrs. Martin so adamantly ignoring the supernatural occurrences in Beacon Hills?
-Like, that is not going to help you stay alive, lady.
-We learn so much about the Stilinskis in this episode.
-Did either of us figure out what was going on with Elias beforehand?
-Who was the old lady Lydia saw at the Stilinski house?
-Based off next week’s trailer, Karen has a theory as to why the lady was in their house.
-But we seriously have no idea what “the following stops have been cancelled” could possibly mean.
-Can we just take a moment to tell you how much we love Shelley Hennig?
-Season 6 seems bigger now that we’re visiting new places.
-Mr. Stilinski seems okay except oh my God no he’s definitely horrible.
-Why is Elias the only one who remembers the truth?
-Did you catch that we finally learned Sheriff Stilinski’s first name?
-Let’s not forget about Gwen like everyone forgot about Phoebe.
-Parties do not solve all your problems, guys.
-Corey was a lot more proactive in this episode and we like it.
-Did anyone else feel kind of bad for the Ghost Rider for, like, two seconds?
-Everyone appreciates Parrish’s brave nobility.
-Things are about to get really, really bad.
-Sheriff Stilinski’s confession was kind of shocking.
-We’re still trying to figure out the mechanics of the Ghost Riders.
-But what we do know is that Claudia is shady AF.
-Hello, Mr. Grief Beard. It is nice to see you again.
-Anyone else feel the fire between Chris and Melissa?
-We learn about the pineal gland.
-But we don’t know why Mr. Douglas needs it.
-Natalie shouts out Mason’s hotness when he offers up those hundreds.
-We’ll be back next week for “Relics.”

Not Another Teen Wolf Podcast Episode #134 – Take A Nap
As we enter the Stiles-free universe, join Karen and Natalie for a recap of Teen Wolf season 6, episode two “Superposition.”
Featured Song: “Of the Mountains” by Dan Deacon
– We have Facebook and we didn’t forget quotes this time!
– The fanfic trope totally happened but we are stoked about it.
– Everyone is bringing their A game this season.
– Side note: why y’all love Hocus Pocus so much? This statement is somewhat related to the Ghost Riders.
– This alternate universe is the opposite of Buffy’s “Doppelgangland” – nothing has changed cause and effect-wise, they’re just mentally filling in the gaps where Stiles was.
– What’s with the magnets? How do clocks work? Are the Ghost Riders scientific? Is this a glitch in the Matrix?
– We learn the reason Corey is still around – his powers are the secret weapon for seeing into the other world.
– Malia’s hook-up guy is Ross Butler, and we’ll see more of him, as if naked wasn’t enough.
– Karen appreciates the lack of expositiony dialogue in the episode.
– The nature of Stiles’ and Malia’s relationship transcends romance.
– Why does lacrosse still even matter to these guys?
– That being said it wouldn’t be Teen Wolf without it.
– Lydia’s got a new friend following her to classes, this isn’t creepy at all. Who is she?
– Karen is mad about Mrs. Martin’s cover-ups – is this the wrong way to handle the kids?
– Natalie has a theory about Liam and Mason and Corey which is likely not true, but, y’know.
– Stellar advice from Deaton as always.
– The pack tries to remember what they’ve lost, poking holes in memories that don’t make sense.
– Meanwhile, the younger generation discover someone else who was taken and puzzle out how to regain that information.
– Um, the Sheriff has a WIFE. Is this Claudia, Stiles’ mother? Or is it a new total alternate universe random?
– “Those better not be curly fries!” One of us is very upset about this chain of events.
– One of us theorizes that the wife may in fact be a villain.
– It’s very stressful watching Tank Wolf just hang around doing nothing like a normal teacher. What’s his play?
– “Mischief.” Okay.
– In filming 6A, it wasn’t known by cast and crew that this was the end – however 6B will be produced with that full knowledge. What will it affect?

Not Another Teen Wolf Podcast Episode #133 – Photoshopped Out
Karen and Natalie are back to recap the final season of Teen Wolf, starting with last night’s premiere “Memory Lost.”
Featured Song: “Riders on the Storm” by Washington
– It’s the last ever Teen Wolf season premiere!
– We’ve broken down the cold open already – how does it hold up in context?
– Season 5 ended back in March – it’s been so long since we did this we may have forgotten how.
– For example, we forgot our favorite quotes segment, but it shall return.
– There’s a lot of humor in this episode, despite the dark prospects.
– Everyone is so great, but Malia is especially great.
– Hot new teacher? Gotta be evil.
– Karen actually has proof that he’s evil, but we’re unsure if the audience is meant to realize yet.
– On what level are people being erased from the universe? Just from the memory of those who know them, or from all of reality?
– Stiles and Lydia. Lydia and Stiles. Stydia. Liles. It’s all happening. Natalie predicts that a really fanfictiony trope is going to happen.
– Hayden’s skeptical of the idea of Liam as the Alpha. We might be too.
– We’re also really skeptical of Cory’s moral fiber.
– Why is Lydia the last to forget Stiles? Is it due to her feelings, her powers, or something else?
– Does direct focus – awareness of what’s happening with the Ghost Riders – allow people to retain their memories better?
– How will the removal of Stiles from reality affect the rest of the characters – will their universe entirely change?
– Why did Teen Wolf choose to air so many crucial moments from this episode in advance? Karen suspects that it’s because whatever is coming is even bigger.
