I totally felt it. Decades later, she is this fully grown, sexually frustrated woman inside a little girl's body and she couldn't escape it and Louis would never see her the way she wanted. I mean, I still hated the little shit, but you couldn't fully disregard her inner turmoil. I sigh.

Ugh, she was so good in that movie. And at that age. I used to think, well, it's pretty easy to portray bratty and self-centered at that age, but then I read and watch interviews she did at the time and she seemed so far removed from that kind of personality. Even in that movie, you kind of are supposed to hate her, but she's just so heartbreaking at the same time. Asdfghjkl!
