This morning’s reveal of last night’s dyeing session was thrilling. I experimented with a combination of using wooden discs and tie dyeing to overdue several cotton napkins. The over dye of this skirt I made and posted yesterday. This lac dye pot was amazing! I’m really happy with how it worked out, lac with alum is one of my all time favourite dye stuffs because no matter what colour you get it’s always perfect. I was able to put around double the weight of fibres into the dye pot with with great results on all of the pieces while using the lowest recommended extract weight.
