11. How do they cope with confusion (seek clarification, pretend they understand, etc)?

omg this is such a difficult question for any OC let alone someone elses ha. Okay but weirdly I think Sullivan is good at dealing with confusion overall. The guy has a huge hole in his memories - or they’re fussy at best - and he just gets on with it. Sure he can contemplate the ‘why’ and try to find answers when confusing things happen (and I guess that’s always going to be a plus?) but what’s more important is just DEALING with the situation. Live in the now and deal with things methodically. …Eeeeeven if there’s some madness in that method.

15. How do they speak? Is what they say usually thought of on the spot, or do they rehearse it in their mind first?

I wouldn’t say Nightflare necessarily rehearses what he’s going to say, but I feel like there’s a measured way to how he speaks. Like. He might be impulsive but I don’t think he‘d always lets whatever is in his head just fall out of his mouth. He’d prossibly skip the small talk and just go straight for action if it’s that kind of situation.

p.s: I gotta say I think Sapphire is an exception to any of these ‘rules’ if only because people can react differently to those that they’ve got that strong bond with. But even that might be wrong!
