An excellent video about Natchez, Mississippi, monetizing their history of slavery. The only thing that I can’t deal with is the lady in the video speaks like a therapist, and I just really hate that tone of voice. “Does that bring anything up for you?” Or “Let’s unpack that a little bit.” Like I hate it when people talk like that, but I cannot put my finger on why. It just always seems so… Antagonistic? Like I’m being lured into a trap. A great video for people who don’t mind that tone of voice.
