I have been going through your blog and I noticed an ask about GCSE's! I have ordered new notebooks etc and I am planning to start proper revision fairly soon. I do National 5's in Scotland and I did not realise that GCSE's/National's were so important! I am nervous to revise now as there are some aspects of topics that I have to basically teach myself. :/
Hello!Â
It’s great that you’re planning to start proper revision soon and I wouldn’t stress to heavily about your National 5′s. They are important but not the be all and end all. Try to calm your nerves (however works for you) and focus on what needs to be done to meet your goals. Make sure not to overdo it if it damages your physical or mental health and try to keep up with extra-curriculars (if you do them) as they can help keep your mind off exams.
I know it must be frustrating that you haven’t been taught properly so you have to teach some bits yourself and unfortunately I think most students will be in this situation at some point. If you have friends in a similar situation, then see if you can work together? Use online resources as there is a lot of information out there that can help you!
Good luck and I wish you all the best <3
