This summer I tried my hand at comic-making for the San José Public Library Graphic Novel Contest. The process was challenging and fun, and the end result won first place in the category of work by artists age 18 and up! This means San José libraries will have physical copies of this comic available for patrons, which is just tremendously neat, if you ask me.

I apologize for not uploading anything the past week, however, I do have some exciting news to share! My friend and old classmate invited me to work on his game The Heartbeakers! It’s a strategy game about birds where you have to change their emotions in order to win fights and save the day! I‘m going to be writing the story, so no 3D work unfortunately, but I’m still very excited because I love writing! Stay tuned!
looking at my character notes like: yes I have this sincere, played-straight character plot about the perils of state over-reach, bodily autonomy, drugs and cultural alienation across an interdimensional divide--
also yes, the character only ever gets explained through stupid nicknames, memes and songs off the metal gear rising soundtrack...

Gameplay experience includes: not one but two younger sisters; having a bad time in a church; the chill of night, the sky outstretched; doing your best.
