naomasa is naturally very protective of you!

he's not only an older brother, who's used to look out for his little sister, but he's a cop as well, so being the protector in a relationship comes natural to him

he's always carrying your bags, cooking for you after work and making your bentos in the morning and he'll dry your hair after you showered

he also likes to makes you gifts! or rather, he often ends up receiving gifts from all might, who received gifts from his fans, which ultimately end up as gifts for you

but naomasa never hides that fact! and it's not like he doesn't spend money on gifts for you as well! though mostly, the gifts you receive from him are practical, like new cutlery or a fancy shampoo

while naomasa loves to make you gifts and do things for you, he isn't a big fan of public displays of affection

he gets embarrassed easily, so he'll scold you whenever you try to kiss him in public! those things even fluster him in private, but he's much more comfortable if nobody can see him blush, in the comforts of his own home

but another reason why he doesn't like public displays of affection is that he doesn't want people to know you two are dating

it's mostly because of his line of work! he doesn't want you to become a target, if he ever ends up making an enemy of a powerful villain or criminal

but his closest friends and family know that the two of you are dating!

the first person he ever told he was dating you, as well as the first person he introduced you to, was his younger sister makoto!

and yet, when he's coming home after a long day of work, he's too exhausted and his mind occupied with work, to realize that while you're two kissing and cuddling, you're leaving a mark on him

he only realizes what you did a good few seconds after the damage is already done and his face turns red as he rushes towards the bathroom, to look at it in the mirror

despite your best efforts to conceal it, the hickey is still visible and as naomasa is too tired to keep dealing with this, he decided that he'll wear a scarf or something, so that nobody notices it

though once the next day came around, there wasn't any room for a scarf. not when he had to wear a full set of bullet proof armor, for a raid of a local criminal group

his co-workers ended up seeing the hickey on his neck and naomasa thought that their teasing would be the worst thing today

but by the time the criminals were caught and the pro heroes showed up, things only got worse for him, as they began commenting on the hickey as well

after some inappropriate comments from the criminals, who would “love to meet whoever gave him that hickey” and “get one of their own”, the mark on his neck also caught the attention of the pro's around him

as naomasa returns that evening, his face and neck are almost red enough to hide the hickey you gave him

but now you have to listen to your boyfriend scold you once more, as he complains how embarrassing it was to have not only other cops and pro heroes, but criminals as well, comment on the hickey you gave him…

naomasa knows that you're a pro hero and that you can take care of yourself, but that doesn't stop him from worrying about you!

he's used to being the protector in a relationship, both because of his job as a cop and because he's an older brother, so dating someone stronger than him takes some time for him to get used to

he also hasn't dated someone before who he's working with, even if you two only cross paths occasionally during work

but whenever you do, he's always very distant, in an attempt to stay professional. he doesn't want people to think he's treating you differently, just because he's your boyfriend

naomasa hates public displays of affection, due to you two working together occasionally. he gets embarrassed if people see the two of you being too close in public

if you'd try to give him a kiss in public, prepare for him to scold you…

since you're a pro hero, naomasa will buy merch from you, even if he doesn't use it. he's honestly a bit embarrassed to wear a hoodie with your logo on it or drink his coffee at work from a mug that's merch from his partner

but he'll treasure the merch he got and if he ever runs out of clothes to wear, because he forgot to do laundry, then you might get to see him in a hoodie that was part of your merch line!

naomasa's love language is acts of services, so he'll try to lift any burden you might have from shoulders!

he'll volunteer to do your paperwork, as well as other bureaucracy related things that might need to be done. plus, he'll give you massages after you had a long day at work!

due to your job, naomasa is also hesitant to introduce you to his sister, makoto, because he knows she'll bug you about your job and drown you in questions and requests of favors

though when he eventually gives in and introduces the two of you, he's happy to see how well you two get along…
