Nano problems
When you're 50 words away from your word goal and then you realize it's midnight and you're actually 2000 behind.
Last night before heading to bed I wrote the title of the next chapter for NaNo and I have no idea what I intended it to contain....

I got stuck around 47 000 words because I got where I had originally planned on finishing this novel. So I decided, "hey, why not write a 'next episode'? Maybe after November I can keep going until I come to another suitable end".
Now I have less than 2000 words until 50 000 and you don't know how happy that makes me. 'Cause I'm going to make it!
Random freaky thing that happened just now while not writing
I was sitting here at my table in the coffee shop. I had just finished writing a scene. I reached over, grabbed a bite of my roll, and took a sip of coffee. This is what my inner monologue said:
"And he reached over, picked up the too-sweet chocolate roll that he had been eating for over an hour, and took a bite. He quickly set it down, and reached for the coffee he needed to rinse the sugar from his mouth. He thought about going to get some real lunch."
So, I'm apparently converting my internal monologue to a third-person narration of my life. That's just awesome.
Goal Update!
Today's 1030am Mini-Goal was 33000, and I totally came here (to Tumblr) at 10:15 to tell you all that I achieved it early! Then, I saw my dash, got distracted, and now I'm telling you that it's 10:35 and I'm still at my 10:30 goal. Which isn't terrible, but is less awesome than I thought this post was going to be. Oops. Maybe the next update will be better!
