Now, Aarni having less songs is because of teo reasons. 1) he has less pov scenes in the fic and 2) his character was always the clearest in my mind and easiest to vibe with. He carries that same love for the world STASU!Johannes has, so writing his scenes came easy. However, Amen is a very important song, because in the end it is about corruption of something holy (and also love).
I love the parallel between Jonttu and Johannes here. Both have so many songs about needing saving, needing help, but with such different styles. Now Jonttu’s playlist ends in a more lighthearted perspective on his story with Stranger being about leaving your old self behind. Johannes’ ends on a hopeful note with Helvetistä Edeniin about finding your way out of darkness. Still, don’t miss out on My Demons and Tuhoaisti about getting corrupted and Punasel and Sharks love blood about wanting someone to a destructive decree.
Both have songs about addiction, and that is intentional. It is in favt one of the most major themes of the story, and is very visible throughout its setting.
