NaNoWriMo - Day 30
I forgot to post on the second to last day. /fail
Words Today: 7,344 Total Count: 50,016 Today’s Target: 50,000
Oh yes. You read that correctly, my friend. I am finished! At 6:12pm I reached the 50,000th word. Want to know what that word is? “Finally”. It’s fitting, right? Time to validate.

I’m also not done at all. The climactic stuff has yet to happen yet. Well, some has, but not the main stuff.
Excerpt:
It was growing dark and the area was deserted. In fact, backed up to the very tree line where she stood was a single house. She bolted across the lawn and crept around to the front door, crashing against it as she gasped heavily for breath. She didn’t need to knock. The thud had drawn attention, and the door quickly swung open.
“Who’s there?!” a gruff voice shouted, partially surprised just at the idea of a visit. He stumbled quickly back and out of the way as Rachel toppled against the door and fell flat on her face onto his floor. The man stared through wide eyes, cast a quick look around outside, and dragged her fully in.

Day 29 - Name one thing in which you indulged as a treat to keep yourself motivated and writing that you wouldn’t otherwise have done.
Um. I might let myself eat now that I’m done. I seriously woke up today and wrote without stopping until I’d reached the count. Now I’m going to figure out what to do for food. Maybe I’ll order that sushi I’ve been craving. But on other days, I’d check Facebook and maybe watch an episode of something so I won’t feel the urge to stop and watch it later in the middle of writing. It’s hard to get restarted something after a break. Oh, I think I will get sushi and watch a movie while eating it.
Day 30 - Share a link to either your NaNo profile or a location on the internet where your story can be found. If someone offered to beta read for you, would you be willing to do the same for them during the subsequent editing process?
Is this the right link to my profile? I thought I had shared it before and people said they had to be logged in to view it. Once the novel is fully finished, I’m thinking about posting it on a website I made. I’ll link to it here in this tumblr someday in a new post.
