"Finding out his familiar is this asskicking vampire Slayer, that messes with [Nandor’s] head, and I think that kind of motivates him to find a new relationship, and find love. And that for him is an escape. He can escape all of his responsibilities, he can escape all of his kind of failures as head of the house and the fact no one listens to him, and he can go and put it all into a woman who's going to solve all his problems. And you know, of course he goes in- he's too naïve and he wants it all without earning it and I think we've all done that from time to time in relationships, where we think a relationship is going to solve all our problems, and we don't have to think about anything else and for about a week two weeks its that and then the bubble bursts and you realize that, you know, a real relationships takes trust, love, devotion, dedication a lot of- many of the things that he actually has with Guillermo, that he takes for granted. And it think he needs to go on that journey to remember what he actually has already"
