For me... I will say the following:

There are so many painters and sculptors that each have their own merit that I can say is great and wonderful and awe- inspiring.  So many more are that are far moreso than the three I have picked.  I chose these three, because they are regular guys, modern, unpretentious, they do what makes them happy.  That’s what I like.  You can see it in their art.
