Merinn took a deep breath, and looking at her they nodded. 

Merinn: Naleah, I need to be honest with you. It will not be fair to you if we go on this vacation without you knowing what happened between me and Harmony.

Naleah: Prince Merinn, you don’t need to tell me how your vacation went-

Merinn: It’s not that, Naleah. You deserve to know. It won’t be fair for you to go through this thinking you are both in equal standing when during our vacation, something happened between me and Harmony that changes everything.

Naleah placed a hand over her chest as she carefully asked: What happened?

With a deep sigh Merinn confessed.

Merinn: I got sexually involved with Harmony. 

They found a treasure. An omiscan doll.

Merinn surfaced in their true form in front of Naleah. Her eyes widened.

Merinn: I lied... I can swim...

To their surprise, her reaction was different from what they expected. She yelled stepping back.

Naleah: Levianthan! Sea monster!

Naleah’s expression changed from shock to anger and disappointment. She stepped forward, brow furrowed as she took in Merinn’s words.

Naleah: Are you expecting me to do the same? Is that why you tell me this?

Merinn paled. 

Merinn: Stars, no! Not at all! I don’t expect you to do anything you’re not comfortable with! 

Naleah: Then why do you tell me this?! Is it to hurt me?!

Her voice was cracking, and Merinn could tell she was near tears, holding them back bravely and proudly, like the princess she was. 

Merinn: No! Naleah, I don’t want to hurt you.

Naleah excitedly pulled Merinn towards the house. She couldn’t wait to see the place where they would be staying. Their vacation had been extended to fit the same time Merinn had with Harmony, though, unlike Harmony’s Merinn surely did expect there would be no accidents.

Merinn: We have planned to visit the town center tomorrow, and go jungle exploring after tomorrow. We have a map to the Omiscan Royal Baths, and I surely do hope we find them.

Naleah: And adventure! I can’t wait! Let’s go see our house! 

She pulled them behind, laughing.

Merinn: We found our way here, so it’s only a matter of time, before we find the baths.

Naleah: Let’s hope it isn’t raining by the time we get there. I wanted to go for a swim. If it’s not to deep, maybe you could join me.

Merinn: Yes... I could.

Merinn nodded. In full honesty, they had planned to reveal their true form to her on the baths. It would be the perfect opportunity, and one he could not escape from. Naleah deserved the truth. They just had to find their way there first.

Naleah: Wait, Merinn...? Are you going to swim?!

Merinn took a deep breath and with as much of their courage as they could muster, they jumped in. As natural as ever, the shift was near instant. Their body changing, legs replaced by tail, skin by hide and scales.

Naleah: We found it! It’s here!
