“I’m not gonna let my social anxiety stop me from taking pictures. I’m gonna approach people and ask for pictures and not be afraid of bothering them!” --Me, hours before proving myself wrong
In part of my grand tradition of only taking enough photos to make people think that I’m weird, here are some photos of cosplay that I liked at Naka-Kon 2016! If you see yourself in these photos and want to tag yourself, feel free. If you see yourself and you do not want to be a part of this post, let me know and I will remove your photo after apologizing profusely.
1) Chiaki Nanami, Mahiru Koizumi -- These two were really cool and I honestly wish I’d taken off the mask I was wearing at the time and hung out with them for a minute, assuming they’d have wanted to. If you’re out there I was Emo Kylo Ren on Saturday morning. Thanks for complimenting my slapdash cosplay!
2) Lucina -- I was really happy to see this cosplay, largely because the Street Fighter V tournament, which took place before the BlazBlue tournament I was in, ran long by two hours. It was nice to see somebody who wasn’t Ryu or Ken in that moment.
3) Chloe Price -- Life Is Strange is a very good game and everybody should play it. Apparently she is a friend of a friend, because my buddy Sam seemed to know the group she was in.
4) Chiaki Nanami -- I should probably apologize to her because it was Sunday towards the end of the con and she was hanging out with her friend and shopping in the vendor room. Hope I wasn’t a bother, and if I was sorry!
See you next year when I continue to fail at talking to people.
