normally when his students stop by his office they're asking for help with the homework, clarification on a lesson, or even some training pointers. it's rare that he's even spending downtime in his office to begin with, so it makes sense they'd make use of that time for his help... even if satoru isn't the most conventional teacher. he's pleasantly surprised to see nobara sit in the chair across from him, anticipating she'd ask about the poor marks on her last essay, but her actual question throws him completely for a loop?

"huh?" he asks with a confused tilt of his head. he blinks a couple times, as if that'll help him hear better, and sticks a pinky in his ear to clear it out, again as if that will actually help. did he hear that right? he totally heard that right. he considers telling her for a moment that it's none of her business, but he's curious. is nobara trying to play match maker? does one of her friends have a hot mom or something? he's suddenly very interested at the thought.

"well, that depends on what you define as dating. i'm kind of busy, so i don't have time for a serious girlfriend, you know? but i do date, as mortifying as that may be to learn. i don't mean to brag (he does), but your handsome gojo-sensei is quite the ladies' man," satoru gestures to himself, smug and proud of his admittance. will he score coolness points in the eyes of his students for this? granted, megumi already knows the extent of his... antics... but yuji and nobara don't!
