I liked the KH3 gameplay shown at E3 and I'm super excited for the game. But I was kind of expecting more on the side of what new worlds will be in the game and whatnot. I read somewhere that apparently Nomura said most of the worlds have never been done before, do you know anything about that?
Yes, in theĀ āSpotlight on Kingdom Heartsā event, Nomura said that KH3 will feature mostly new worlds which weāve never seen before. He also said that more news would be coming shortly, so that could mean the D23 Expo in August, Gamescom, or the D23 Expo in Tokyo in November.

Like Nomura said, theyāre in talks with Disney to see what they can and canāt release. Iām honestly just glad we got to see Tangled, as it looked amazing.
Well in Engadgetās interview with Nomura, he did say āCompared to previous titles that we folded into Kingdom Hearts, we have a lot of creators still alive. The process of gaining approvals then is pretty different.ā Some think this means a lot of the worlds will be new. However, he also said āTypically, worlds that we weren't able to put into a game are usually picked up again for work in the sequel.ā Interesting stuff though!

ahh iām not really sure if most of them will be new... iām sure that heaps of worlds will be new ones considering that so many popular disney films have come out! but thereāll probably be some old ones and like twilight town and maybe traverse town and land of departure??? (hopefully)
they said that they wanted to show off some of the coolest things in the kh3 trailer to give us a taste of some new content so they didnāt really exhibit the details like worlds and characters and stuff. Iām sure theyāll give us some hints soon though!!
This is something that bothered me about the finale too. In the previous episodes, when was it ever stated that Eddie was Eobard's great(x whatever)-grandfather? They specifically stated it in the finale, but before that I feel like Eobard only said "distant relative". I'm sure that Eddie killing himself still would've erased Eobard regardless, but just a continuity thing that I feel like I might've missed
Nope, Thawne was always vague that I can remember. āDistant relationā, orĀ āfamilyā or whatever. But then that might have been deliberate. He wouldnāt want anyone to know that hurting Eddie could stop him. But yeah, it was kind of a huge leap of logic on Eddieās part. Wouldāve been ironic if heād shot himself and nothing happened because heās just a great grand second cousin. Then again, Eddie was down there for two weeks with him, so he probably said a lot we didnāt hear. Maybe he let it slip. Oh, or maybe it was the Grandma Agnes line? Iām pretty sure that was implying that Agnes is whoever Eddie married in the original timeline, which makes him Grandpa Eddie.
What I wonder about is why it was implied that he was from hundreds of years in the future. Didnāt he tell Cisco heād been dead for centuries? Melodramatic bastard.

Yeah I'm pretty sure you're right about current Barry being the only to see his mom die, and kid Barry never did. But I was also confused by that, I assumed he did see his mother die as well. Maybe it's because kid Barry assumed his mother died, or was in the process of being killed, before he was taken outside? Idk, could be wrong lol

Hmmm, I definitely appreciate your viewpoint/explanation of the flashbacks, because it gives me a different appreciation when I think about them as a whole and I completely agree with you. I guess I was looking at it vs S2, where there was more of a direct plot-connection, with Slade of course. I guess I just preferred that overall, because S2 was probably my favorite, and Slade is probably my favorite big bad so far. Although they've all been great, and I definitely love Malcolm too

Writers do things with a purpose. Do we sometimes agree with them? No, not really; but you can still analyze something and not agree with it.Ā
Why I think they did that with season 2 is because they wanted to convey Oliverās trajectory to becoming a hero and in order for people to see that you are a hero, you have to be shown that you are a hero.Ā
Season 3 is a little different because itās Oliverās journey to find out who he is now and what heās become or what anyone else believes he is. He has to figure himself out and even so, thereās an argument that could be made for hong kong Oliver not knowing who he is either.
I think comparing seasons is one of the worst things we can do as viewers to a television show. The same writers that work in season 1 donāt necessarily write for season 2 and so on for season 3 and etc. Itās like expecting one author to write a sequel to a whole different franchise. Hell, thats why you canāt expect every episode to be the same in writing level because different writers write for different episodes too. Think about your favorite episodes in any season, then compare the teleplay by credit scene in the beginning. Who wrote it? If you notice the same writers, then thereās your pattern.
