As the sun dipped below the city's looming industrial buildings. The neon lights began to flicker on. The night was slowly awakening. It came with the cooling breeze, and the taste of sea salt on the tongue. The road filled with fog, the sidewalk vibrated with music, and the rushing of bodies. As the sun was gone and the stars began to shine. Laughter filled the air, most bodies were moving to one place.
A wooden building, the dark oak obscured it so finally that one could walk right past it without realizing it. But those that so happened to grace the door with their fingertips. We’re met with a warmth and flooding thick smoke at their feet. Club Midnight a club that seemingly popped up out of nowhere. Yet the reputation was endlessly positive. Inside would sit the host of the bar, dressed all in black. Everyone wanted a moment inside, for at midnight the women would sing and the club would seemingly disappear once more.
Whether that was true or not no one knows. What is know is-
“Welcome back honey, are you thirsty?” Came the mellow voice of the host. No smile appeared on her lips but she gazed down at him. A drink in her hand, she was always friendly to regulars.
