Summary:
Loki resisted, but the Other was a master of his craft and the passage in the Void had battered Loki. Tattered hopes clung to the possibility of Thor finally following on a promise. He was coming for him. He was coming.
Loki found himself on Midgard, then back on Asgard, mind muddled, tongue heavy. And so he was left again on an hostile place, among people wishing his demise. Except that humans… are blindingly compassionate compared to Asgardian.
aka no one notice Loki isn’t all there during the invasion. Until they do.

Morgan only wanted to take a stroll through town as the sun set. And instead, she found herself ducking in and out of alleyways, trying to get away from a few creeps stalking her. She turned a corner, pressed herself against the wall, and held her breath. A few minutes ticked by until—
“Found you!” one of the creeps grabbed her arm and yanked her sharply to the side.
“Get away from me!” she yelled in panic.
To her surprise, the man immediately let go of her and began backing up, rapidly. He glared at her, furious, but didn’t stop walking backwards down the street. It was as if he had no control over his body. Had she done this?
The two other men emerged from another alley, and after taking a glance at their friend, stalked straight at Morgan. If the first man had done as she commanded, then…
“Stop,” she ordered, and they did. Every muscle frozen in place, stuck mid-step.
Morgan had to go tell the others. If she was right about where these powers came from, her siblings could be in trouble. She took several steps back, still in slight shock, then took off down the road, toward home.
