im at work so i cant give a batshit insane response with links and references cited but basically: philly dawgs is like a form of soulmatism if u think about it, jc and nolan especially. teammates their entire college careers, drafted together to the eagles, making this defense into what it is AH storybook!! and then like. iirc jalen at some point said (about nolan) smth like "he's been my leader since college" PLUS jc said it was "a dream come true" (direct quote im so serious) to play in the league with nolan and then and then like. the rams playoff game, he and nolan combine for a sack after jc reads the offense and when they get to the sideline jalen says "thank you for trusting me" and nolan Immediately no hesitation says "don't ever say no stupid shit like that. if you see that shit call that shit" and THEN and then on top of it all jalen has 1 inch and 90 pounds on nolan, he's jalen fucking carter, baby rhino, etc etc that mf SCARY but!! nolan is the guy he listens to ! like. and always has!!!!!! apparently (thank u @aminiatureace for telling me abt this) ppl joked all through their rookie year that any time jc got in trouble, sirianni shouldve gotten nolan to calm him down like.
